Jacquita represents clients through every stage of litigation in state and federal courts, bringing a strategic, disciplined approach to high-stakes matters.

Jacquita Parks is a seasoned trial lawyer whose practice spans complex civil litigation, employment disputes, premises liability, construction matters, professional liability, contract disputes, and personal injury claims.

Over the course of her career, Jacquita has handled more than 1,000 criminal cases and served as lead counsel in more than 100 civil matters. Her experience includes trials, administrative appeals, dispositive motions, mediations, internal investigations, and appellate proceedings before Georgia’s appellate courts and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. She has also represented clients in employment matters involving discrimination, wrongful termination, harassment, retaliation, and other workplace claims.

Before entering private practice, Jacquita served as a Senior Attorney in the City of Atlanta Department of Law’s Litigation Division. There, she acted as lead counsel in multimillion-dollar matters involving constitutional civil-rights claims, employment discrimination, personal injury, construction litigation, and real estate disputes. She previously served as Senior Staff Attorney to Judge Thomas A. Cox Jr. of the Fulton County Superior Court, advising the court on complex civil and criminal matters.

Jacquita began her career in criminal litigation with the Georgia Public Defender Council, where she managed a substantial felony caseload and developed extensive courtroom experience. Her combined background in public service, criminal defense, and complex civil litigation allows her to assess disputes from multiple perspectives and develop practical strategies tailored to each client’s objectives.

Jacquita is also active in Georgia’s legal community. She has held leadership and committee positions with the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers and the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys and is a graduate of both the State Bar of Georgia Young Lawyers Division Leadership Academy and the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers Leadership Academy 2.0.
