His practice includes extensive experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating construction contracts, as well as filing and enforcing lien and bond claims.

His publications include analyses on subcontractor liability, government contracts, performance bond pitfalls, and changes to Georgia lien law, establishing him as a trusted resource on evolving issues in construction law.
Phil is an active speaker and educator, having presented to professional audiences and industry groups such as the Associated General Contractors of Georgia Young Leadership Program and the Garage Door U. business forum. His insights have also been featured on industry podcasts, including Quit Getting Screwed and Torsion Talk. Beyond his professional practice, he serves the legal and broader community through leadership roles with the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation, the Associated General Contractors of Georgia, and the Partnership Against Domestic Violence.
Phil earned his J.D. summa cum laude from Georgia State University College of Law, where he was inducted into the Order of the Coif and received multiple advocacy and pro bono honors. While in law school, Phillip served as an extern to Chief Justice David Nahmias of the Supreme Court of Georgia. He was also an intern to the Honorable Charles A. Pannell of the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, Atlanta Division.
