Stephanie is an international legal consultant with more than fifteen years of experience advising multinational companies on data privacy, regulatory compliance, antitrust, sanctions, and complex disputes across Brazil, Latin America, and the United States.

She works at the intersection of law, technology, and strategy, helping companies build data governance, compliance, and commercial structures that support digital growth. Stephanie has led compliance programs, strategic litigation, and legal operations for global technology clients, including serving as Legal & Data Privacy Manager for Samsung Electronics in Latin America and Miami, where she oversaw privacy, consumer protection, antitrust and competition, OFAC-related sanctions issues, and general legal matters for operations in 16 countries, as well as designing and delivering legal and data privacy trainings across the region.

Before joining Guilmette Henderson, Stephanie practiced for more than a decade in both law firms and in-house roles, managing teams and defending technology, aviation, energy, and consumer companies in high-stakes class actions, strategic litigation, data-breach cases, and investigations by data-protection and consumer authorities. She has substantial courtroom litigation experience in Brazil and has led settlement negotiations with federal and state public authorities in matters involving data privacy and consumer defense. She also advises on legal marketing and advertising campaigns, e-commerce, marketplace liability, and product safety, and has deep experience implementing compliance frameworks under GDPR, LGPD, CCPA, and related regimes, including risk assessments, contract templates, data governance structures, internal investigations, and data-driven commercial and technology agreements that help power business transformation. She acts as a business partner to her clients, helping them mitigate legal and regulatory risk while allowing their businesses to grow, treating the law not as a barrier but as a strategic tool for sustainable expansion.

Stephanie completed her LL.M. at Emory University and also holds a master’s degree in Consumer and E-commerce Law from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) and an LL.B. in Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), both in Brazil.

Stephanie is licensed to practice law in Brazil and is not admitted to practice in Georgia or any other U.S. jurisdiction.
